The Durham Fair Photography Department is a popular spot for both fairgoers and exhibitors! Colorful, dramatic, whimsical, sentimental – these adjectives are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the Photography Department exhibits.
With everything from salon prints and enlargement to snapshots and digital displays, the exhibit always draws large crowds. We even have an annually changing “Floating Category” to challenge your creativity with a new theme each year!
The Department’s eight exhibitor categories are designed to provide competitive opportunities for photographers of all skill levels. Particularly in the largely-digital world we live in, what you will see as you peruse the aisles could be the result of a quick cell phone shot or a carefully constructed and edited work.
Always compelling and always interesting, fairgoers definitely need to see what is going on in the Photography Department.
